Our Story

Senior Benefits of North Alabama, LLC is a locally owned insurance agency that has worked to give seniors protection and peace of mind since 2017. We are fully dedicated to giving Medicare, its benefits, and other insurance options, a modernized and personal touch. We are located at 2215 Danville Road SW, Suite i in Decatur, AL, in the old Holloway Grocery Store Plaza. We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. However, late appointments, as well as Saturday appointments, are available, if necessary. We have agents that cover the Northern half of Alabama. If an in-home meeting is necessary, for more information, or to schedule an appointment, simply contact us. We will happy to assist!

The out-of-pocket maximum for Medicare Part D
in 2025 is $2,000

Deductible: The deductible for 2025 is $590.

Initial coverage: After the deductible is met, the enrollee pays 25% of their drug costs until they reach $2,000 in out-of-pocket spending.
Catastrophic coverage: Once the enrollee reaches $2,000, they qualify for catastrophic coverage and don't have to pay out-of-pocket for covered Part D drugs for the rest of the year.

The Inflation Reduction Act, also known as the prescription drug law, made these changes to reduce costs for Medicare enrollees. The changes are expected to reduce out-of-pocket spending by about $7.4 billion annually for more than 18.7 million enrollees.

In addition to the out-of-pocket maximum, enrollees can also choose to spread their drug costs into monthly payments through the Medicare prescription payment plan. Contact us for more information.
